How Much Money Should I Bring For My Two Week Trip To Ireland?
ok so im backpacking for two weeks in ireland and im planning on living really cheap, im going to cook my own food in the hostels ect. i’m going to go see a few attractions here and there but im mainly going to experience the culture… i honestly think most of my money will go to pints of guinness lol so with that being said would 1,000 euros be enough for this adventure?

Well maybe if you don’t drink a lot
A pint of guinness here starts at €4.50 but can go up to as much as €6 in clubs and hotels.
Food is really expensive but Mc Donald’s and those crappy take out places are relatively cheap.
Bring rain-wear, our weather is very unpredictable.
This is a good site for hostels.http://www.hostelbookers.com/hostels/ire…

Ireland is hideously expensive. I flew a girl to Dublin for the day and ended up spending 200 Euros on nothing more than drinks, entry to the Guiness museum, couple of taxis and a meal in the evening.
It’s cheaper outside Dublin of course, but be aware that a serious drinking session can dent your funds badly. I’d catch a train to N.Ireland – drinks can be half the price than in Southern Ireland.

I am SO jealous of you! I have been dying to go to ireland for years. If I were you, I would bring a little more money just to be safe. Nothing would be worse than to run out of money and not be able to do something that you may never get to experience again. I would say bring an extra 500 euros or so. Have fun!!!

No idea.
What I do know is…..do NOT kiss the Blarney Stone.
Actual Irish teenagers urinate on it to be funny because thousands of tourists per week are leaning over and kissing it.
Tourist attractions aren’t always attractive! lol

Bring an extra €400. On a budget of €100 a day, you should just about manage.
